Alan (10 out of 10 ) A perfectly judged drama; humourous, elegiac and ultimately almost unbearably poignant. All the main performances are flawless. You really feel the actors totally inhabiting the characters they play, obviously fully appreciative of the script's subtlety and nuance. The dialogue is a perfect blend of naturalism and artifice. It's one of those films that really feels like it's been a labour of love for all involved.
